Filters

List resources in the API are filtered to allow clients to narrow down the results of their request.

By default, no filters are applied.

Parameter types

Type Description

date-time At Dovetail, dates are timestamps in the ISO 8601 format: YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSSSSS.+0000

Multiple formats are supported for filtering:
- YYYY-MM-DD
- YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS
- YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ
- YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS+0000
- YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS.SSSSSS+0000.

Take note that the timezone is always +0000 and hence any other timezone will be converted to +0000 before comparison.

Remember to apply proper URL encoding.
